Majestic GEORGE II sterling silver Scottish Hanovarian hash spoon.
Maker: Edward Lothian. Edinburgh 1743.
This spoon has a very generous bowl and is of good weight.
The full set of hallmarks are clearly marked on the base of the reverse of the stem and the tip is engraved with the owners contemporary initials G M S.
This is a spoon with many uses such as serving casseroles or any other oven to table dishes or vegetables and would look elegant on any table.
