Charming George III Sterling Silver Small Pierced Basket with a Swing Handle.
Maker: Robert Hennell. London 1783.
The basket stands on a pierced oval foot with a beaded edge. The beading is echoed on the top rim and on the hinged curved handle. The attractive piercing on the basket has a multifaceted design and is repeated around the bowl.

This is a delightful piece and has many uses.
