An excellent pair of sterling silver Queen Anne dognose tablespoons of a very generous weight. Circa 1710. Makers mark only struck once on the reverse of each stem - CP crowned, as yet unascribed. The end of the reverse of each stem is quite beautifully engraved with the Arms of Clarke, surrounded by an elaborate border of scrolls and fruit.

Very slight wear to tips of spoons. Otherwise in excellent condition with very crisp engraving and makers mark and an extremely pleasing patina.
