Beautifully engraved Queen Anne dognose tablespoon.
Maker's mark only: CP beneath coronet (unascribed). Circa 1710.
COAT OF ARMS: Argent on a bend between three ogresses as many swans, a canton charged with a lion's jamb (perhaps for Clarke).
Very attractive dognose spoon of good patina and weight.
Length: 7.7 inches (19.6cm)
Weight: 2.5 troy ounces (77.8 grams)
Circa 1710
Sterling silver
Excellent condition apart from slight wear at tip of bowl.
