Charming VICTORIAN sterling silver egg spoon with private dye.

The stem of the spoon has a contemporary applied family crest of a demi-lion facing left and holding an eastern cross in its right paw. There is a decorative scroll pattern at the very tip of the stem on both the front and the reverse.

The full set of hallmarks and makers mark are stamped on the reverse side of the bowl. There is also an attractive elongated rat-tail on the bowls reverse.

Although designed as an egg spoon it could have many uses.

This is a piece of high quality silver.
