Interesting and currently relevant Suffragette Brass Car Badge Join The Drive Votes For Women.

Circa 1910.

These badges were attached to car badge bars and since at that time there were so few women drivers, it is probable that the badges were displayed on cars driven by men who were sympathetic and supportive of the Suffragette Movement.

A number of these badges have survived and quite a few of them have been sold at auction in the past few years. Therefore, although they cannot be termed as extremely rare they are certainly not found very often today.
