Handsome pair of Victorian sterling silver crested fiddle thread and shell gravy ladles of good weight.
Maker: George Adams. London 1862.
Each ladle is engraved with a lion standing on a coronet.
The full set of hallmarks and maker's mark is stamped on the reverse of the tip of the handle.
Length: 7.3 inches (18.5cm)
Weight: 4.2 troy ounces (130.6 grams) the pair.
Condition
Good showing some signs of wear in the detail commensurate with their use and age.
