Very attractive set of six GEORGE II sterling silver Hanoverian dessert spoons.

Maker: Probably John Swift. London 1734.



The top of the reverse of the stem has a beautiful contemporary engraving of the crest of Brenchley. The spoons are extremely well formed with an excellent patina and the bowls are elegantly almond shaped. All these assets make this set of spoons extremely desirable.
