Striking and beautifully made sterling silver Victorian Regimental Plaid brooch for the Seaforth Highlanders.

With cipher of Leopold, Duke of Albany.
Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany, KG, KT, GCSI, GCMG, GCStJ (Leopold George Duncan Albert; 7 April 1853 - 28 March 1884) was the eighth child and youngest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
This Regiment was an amalgamation of the 72nd and 78th Highlanders in 1881.
