Rare GEORGE III Silver Yorkshire Assizes Admission Medal to the Courts.
Unmarked. Circa 1813.
The medal has an oval form and the details are good and crisp.
The obverse: Decorated with a building and the words and date 'Yorkshire Assizes', 1813.
The reverse: Stamped with "The Attornies Medal of Admission to the Courts Not Transferrable".
The centre inscribed 'Mr. R. Sandwith'.
This is a very fine example of Yorkshire history.
