Antique Scottish silver Clan Badge for Anderson. Made by James Aitchison in Edinburgh 1900. In the centre of the badge a seated deer to left. Applied to the surrounding clansmans belt is the family motto RECTE QUOD HONESTE. Reverse: a simple pin with hook in the centre of the badge. The makers mark is stamped at the bottom of the badge with the Edinburgh hallmarks for 1900 stamped beneath.
